Special Board Meeting Minutes
A Special Board of Directors meeting of the Suburban Frederick Kiwanis Club was held at the Elks Club, Frederick on Tuesday, February 23 2010. The meeting was called to order by President Bill Muffi at 7:27 PM. Officers and Directors present were Larry Fellows, Christine Semon, Joe Vitanza, Jim Wiggins, president-elect Mick Hickman, vice president Eric Gatrell, treasurer Debbi Matthews, and secretary Terry Proescholdt.  A quorum was present.

Monthly Board Meeting Minutes
The March 2010 Board of Directors meeting of the Suburban Frederick Kiwanis Club was held at the Elks Club, Frederick on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. The meeting was called to order by President Bill Muffi at 7:42 PM. Officers and Directors present were Jim Wiggins, president-elect Mick Hickman, vice president Eric Gatrell, treasurer Debbi Matthews, and secretary Terry Proescholdt.  A quorum was present.
The minutes of the February Board of Directors Meeting as they appeared in the eChatter were approved. The motion to approve was made by Frank, with a second by Mick.
The treasurer’s report showed $7,566.76 in the Administrative Account, $37,618.16 in the Service account, and $29,230.18 in the CD. Motion to approve was made by Frank, second by Eric, approved. 
Committee reports for the month of February were presented by committee chairpersons.
OLD BUSINESS:

1. None

NEW BUSINESS

1. Treasurer Debbi passed around the Hope Alive newsletter.  We are in the Bronze donation category and got no mention of our donation.  If we increase our donation by $200, we will be in the Silver category and be mentioned.  A motion was made by Jim Wiggins to increase our donation by $200 from the Foundation account.  Second by Debbi.  Motion passed.

There was no further business to be discussed and the meeting was adjourned at 8:09 PM.
