JERRY's
WORDS of WISDOM by
Pres. Jerry Jenkins
Hello
all you workers out there. It’s December
already and the ball games and gift wrap have started.
This
is as you know our major fundraiser and the help
of all hands is required to make it a success.
This gift wrapping project provides over half of
our annual budget; therefore it is very important
to our club. Please make room in your schedule
for all the assistance you can give.
Mount
St Mary’s Kids will assist us at the
basketball games this year. That should take some
of the pressure off of the club, but we still need
lot’s of help.
Bring
your wife, significant other or just friends
to these events, but please, this is the time
of year when we need all the help we can get
for
these
two projects.
A
hearty welcome to our newest member Jim Wiggins.
We will be inducting Jim at our own club meeting
in the near future as
scheduled by the membership chairman, Eric Gatrell.
By then Frank Parker, another new member, will
have been inducted at the Governor’s
Official Visit in Westminster on the 2nd
of December.
Short on words this month so have a very Merry
Christmas and be safe.
Jerry
