Debra Spurrier, representing the pork
industry, recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Surburban Frederick. She shared
information about how the industry is impacting the local economy. Her
presentation included what is going on in the food and pork business in
Frederick County, trends in the local farm economy, and advances in pork
production and what those advances mean to the food we buy. Pictured, from left,
