Dairy judging was the speaker program at a
recent meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Suburban Frederick. National Dairy Judging
Contest winners Curtis Rhoderick, left, and Hannah Thompson, right, both from
Frederick County, and members of the Maryland 4-H Dairy Judging Team, explained
what they look for when judging dairy cows. Soon after their presentation, they
were on their way to Edinburgh, Scotland, with the other two members of their
team to participate in the International Dairy Judging Contest. At right is Paul
Sheets, club member.
