Kiwanis guest

Jason Polansky, blind since birth, recently shared his experiences as a blind person with members of the Kiwanis Club of Suburban Frederick. Accompanied by his mother, Susan Polansky, Jason discussed the development of assistance for the blind, most of which center on learning and writing in Braille. Jason is a well-spoken 13-year-old who felt comfortable in front of the crowd as he demonstrated several pieces of equipment he uses. Kiwanis is an organization of volunteers dedicated to helping the needy of Frederick County. For information, contact Frank Parker at vats3@verizon.net or 301-668-8698.
