The Kiwanis Club of Suburban Frederick
recently held its Clergy Appreciation night. Guest clergy received a
Humanitarian Award as a token of the club’s appreciation for their services.
Guest clergy included Pastor J. Sherman Mason Jr. of the Simpson Christian
Community Church and Minister Anna P. Shanklin of the First Missionary Baptist
Church. Each shared thoughts on the importance of religious ministries to the
