Frederick, Maryland; December 22, 2003: The Board of Trustees of The Community Foundation of Frederick County, MD, Inc. announces The Kiwanis Club of Suburban Frederick Fund. The Kiwanis Club of Suburban Frederick, one of Frederick County’s leading service organizations, turned to the Community Foundation to establish the fund to carry out its charitable activities, particularly those relating to the children of Frederick County. Kiwanis Club of Suburban Frederick President Jerry Jenkins shares that, “We started this fund with the Community Foundation to create a mechanism to support our club’s activities aimed at bettering the community in which we live, work and raise families.” Visit http://www.suburbanfrederickkiwanis.org/ for more information about the service club.
